Our Light Duty Floor Expansion Joint Cover was selected as the expansion joint cover of choice for the Spotlight Group’s new retail concept, Spotlight Creative at Robina Town Centre. These new smaller retail stores offer Spotlight’s DIY range of Craft, Sew & Party customers. Just like Heard Group Expansion Joint Systems, Spotlight is an Australian family owned and operated business and we are pleased to see our products in their Australian stores.

Heard Group Expansion Joint Installations worked throughout the evenings with Mainbrace Constructions to ensure the installation was performed on time and with no effect to customers shopping at Robina Town Centre.

The Light Duty Floor Expansion Joint Cover was selected with an aluminium cover plate to provide a clean, modern and fresh look alongside the floor’s cream glossy tiles.

The Heard Group Light Duty Floor Expansion Joint Cover has 60mm of movement and perfect for installation in a tiled floor for retail spaces. It’s referred to in the flooring industry as a ‘direct stick’ expansion joint cover as it can be installed directly into the expansion joint gap by simply screwing down with the supplied fixings.

The Light Duty Floor Expansion Joint Cover has 25UM anodising for longevity wear and structural architectural grade aluminium bases and cover plate to handle loading of shopping trolleys, pedestrians and retail service equipment. The Heard Group Light Duty Floor Expansion Joint Cover will stand the test of time by being able to support these loads as the centre bars, which allow the expansion joint cover to expand inwards and outwards in both shear and horizontal thermal movement, are made from heavy duty stainless steel, not plastic or mild steel which can rust and break under load.
