Heard Group Expansion Joint Water Seal
The Heard Group Expansion Joint Water Seal is a preformed cross-linked closed cell foam, specifically formulated to prevent water and debris from penetrating an expansion joint gap.
Installed in the expansion joint gap beneath the expansion joint system, it forms a complete water proof barrier, preventing water from leaking into retail or car parks below the concrete slab. The expansion joint water seal can also be installed above fire seals allowing both fire and water protection.

HEARD GROUP EXPANSION JOINT WATER SEAL (EJWS)
Each order includes Heard Group Epoxy Adhesive, specially formulated to adhere the Heard Group Expansion Joint Water Seal to concrete or epoxy surfaces. Grooves along the sides of the seal allow further bond strength to the application’s surface.
The water seal conveniently allows on site welding of joins, intersections, upturns and is able to be welded in any size to suit its required application.
The Heard Group Expansion Joint Water Seal is installed in 30% compression. For example, a 100mm expansion joint gap will require a 130mm seal.
